Our system automatically detects whether an uploaded document requires OCR processing (i.e. scanned or image-based PDFs). When a document is identified as an OCR doc, it is counted against your plan's OCR quota — separate from your standard document limits.
Each plan includes: Growth 250 Professional 500 Business 750 OCR docs/month.
Once your OCR quota is exhausted, further scanned documents are billed at the overage rate. OCR detection is fully automatic — no manual flagging required.
You are notified at 80% of your combined page cap and separately at 80% of your OCR quota.
Your dashboard shows live usage per doc type, OCR consumption, and current rollover balance — so you always know exactly where you stand before hitting a limit.

Both overage rates are charged in USD. Overage is only triggered after both your per-doc-type limit and combined page cap are exceeded.
Unused document limits roll forward up to +20% of base plan limits. Surplus is tracked per doc-type and cannot transfer between types.
OCR quota surplus also rolls over under the same 20% rule. Rollover happens once only — it does not stack across multiple months.
Example: if your Growth plan Shipping Bill quota is 250 and you use 200, 50 rolls over but is capped at 50 (20% of 250). Your next month starts with up to 300 Shipping Bill PDFs.
Upgrade any time. New limits (including OCR quota) apply immediately from the upgrade date.
Billing is prorated — you only pay for the remaining days on the new plan. Existing surplus and OCR balance carry over to the new plan without reset.
All uploaded PDFs are processed in-session only and are not stored permanently on our servers. Extracted data is saved to your account's secure storage and is never shared with third parties.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. You can delete your data at any time from your dashboard settings.
